ANOTHER Book Haul!!

Hello bookish people! I now feel like I have to say I'm sorry in every single one of my posts because I have been so bad as to not post! But anyway I am truly sorry, school has been very hectic w/ homework and sports and just UGHHHHH!!!
Now to the haul! I did one of these a very recent time ago, but since then... I may or may not have ordered more books? I will include the books from last time so, yay!! Let's get started!

1) Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout. You've seen this before. But if you haven't, I will not make a summary because this is the 4th installment in the Lux series and NO SPOILERS HERE!!
2) Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell! OMG I love this book SO much! It's sooo cute! It is a contemporary novel. It is about these two misfits named Eleanor and Park (hence the name) and it is about their love coming gradually to them. That is all I am going to tell you. And IT'S MY FIRST SIGNED COPY!! WOOOO!
3) The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancy. This is the sequel to The 5th Wave so I will not be able to give you a summery. I have a review on The 5th Wave (first post *wink wink*) so go check that out!
4) Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead. This is the 5th installment of the Vampire Academy series. No summary fo you!! BWAHAHA
5) Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead, the 6th and last installment to the Vampire Academy series. EVIL IS WITHIN ME!!!
6) Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout. 1st installment to the Lux series. I have already read this series and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is my favorite series and it has such amazing characters and romance and plot lines and UGH! SO PERFECT! Now I will tell you a summary of this one! This is about this girl named Katy and she just moved to West Virginia with her mom. When she asks her neighbor for directions, she finds out that he is so, totally, hot... Until he opens his mouth. He is infuriating and arrogant. This is about their adventures together and their steaming hot romance. This is also sci-fi. If you are not a fan of sci-fi you will still adore this book!
7) Opal by Jennifer L Armentrout. Yes the third installment of the Lux series. No summaryyyyyy HEHEHEU!
8) Half Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout... Favorite author much? This is the first installment of the Covenant series. The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi–pure bloods–have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals–well, not so much.
Half-bloods only have two options: become trained sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.
Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:
Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.
Unfortunately, she’s crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn’t her biggest problem–staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden.
And that would kind of suck.
I did not know what this was about so I looked it up on Jens website and this is what it said!

That is all for my book haul! I hope you enjoyed it! I did make a video for Wednesday but I have to put it up next week because I couldn't edit it.
LOVE YOU ALLLLLL!!!!! Thanks and bye!

RANT ALERT

So yes, I love buying books online, it is totally fine! I love the rush you get when you look in your mailbox and a package is there for you or when you parent or guardian says "There is a package for you" when you get home. But it is so much more exciting to drive to the bookstore and find the book you want and bring it home with you. BOOM the little bookstores go... vanish into thin air then BOOM POW there goes borders!!!!!!!!!!! Then you are left with the 30-45 minute drive to B&N. Now I go to B&N with one or probably two books in mind that I am desperate to get. So I search those stupid shelves for 10 or 15 minutes and then find the book. 90% of the time, that happens, but then you are stuck with the other 10%. When I first don't find the book, I say to myself "Ella, it's all good. Just double check" SO then I double check and the books are still not there and I am getting a bit pissed. Then I am dragging myself to the customer service box. THEN this happens:
Me: Hi, do you have Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins?
B&N person: One sec....
Me: ok ok...
B&N person: Is this what you are looking for? *shows Anna*
Me: No.
B&N person: Then we do not have that yet.
Me: Oh, ok that's fine. Do you have Doon by Carie Corp and Lorie Langdon?
B&N person: Nope not here. Do you want to order it in?
Me thinking: YEA I DROVE 45 MINUTES TO GET HERE JUST FOR YOU TO ORDER IT FOR ME BECAUSE I CLEARLY CANNOT WORK THE INTERNET..... Me Talking: No thanks.
THEN I walk around a little bit and I pass Looking for Alaska.
Me thinking: Don't have this, let's get it.
SO I go to the check out counter and THIS happens:
B&N person: Next!!
Me: Hi
B&N person: Hi, this is a good one.
Me: So I've heard.
B&N person: *starts convo about it then spoils me*
Me thinking: YEA OK I JUST CAME HERE TO HAVE YOU START A CONVO ABOUT THIS BOOK, SPOIL ME AND THEN YOU JUST GIVE ME THE BOOK BACK LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY
B&N person: Thanks, have a good day.
PIPE THE CRAP DOWN B&N, PIPE THE CRAP DOWN

Sorry about that rant, this thing just pisses me off. Maeve could not post today because she is very busy. WE ALL STILL LOVE HER THO!!
Love you all so so so so much! Thanks and Bye!!

Book Haul!

   Hello Bookaholics!
So today I will be doing a book haul! But before we get to that I just wanted to say that I am sorry for not posting! School is a real pain in the butt.
On with the book haul!! Just so you know, this is not like a 10 book book haul. Only 3, SORRY!!
   1. I ordered Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead like a billion years ago and OMG IT IS STILL NOT HERE!!! It is the 5th installment of the Vampire Academy Series. I finished Blood Promise today and LOVED IT, but stupid cliff hangers are DUMB AS CRAP!!! Breath, Ella, Breath...
   2. Next I ordered Last Sacrifice also by Richelle Mead and I am so excited because now I have the whole series in my hands!! It is the 6th and final installment of the Vampire Academy series!
   3. And last, but never in a million years least, I ordered Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout. It is the 4th installment to the Lux Series! I have read all the Lux books and it's my favorite series in the whole world, but I read them in the bind ups so I do not have the original covers. It only seems fair that I have the original covers if it's my favorite series right? Right?
The only reason I didn't explain all of these books plot and everything is that they are all like right in the middle of a series and the last book in the series and I do not want to give spoilers so ya!
Thank you all so so so so much! I love you! Bye!

Hello my beautiful little munchkins!
So as you can see, I will be doing a TBR (to be read). I would also like to say that I am so sorry for not posting on Tuesday... Well I did but the video wasn't working. I will try and post it tomorrow and PLEASE PLEASE comment if it works. I know you all aren't big fans of commenting but please, me and Maeve would love to talk to you. WE LOVE YOU!!
Okay, now to the TBR!
1. Looking for Alaska by John Green. I wrote a description on it on one of the older posts so check that out! I know I am so late on this bandwagon but I will try to read this around the end of this month I PROMISE and if I don't, punch me.
2. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. Now I have read The Mortal Instruments and I LOVED IT LIKE OMG!!!!! I am so excited to read more of Cassandra's writing becuase she has such a talent for it.
3. The Shadowhunter's Codex by Cassandra Clare and Joshua Lewis. The name says it all.
4. The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu. Yet another bandwagon that I am not apart of. This is kind of like Hunger Games and Divergent from what I have heard. But different too. I smell.... EXCITMENT!!!!
5. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyers. I am so ashamed of myself. Punch me plz!!! I have been putting this series off for like 3 years. I've seen the movies, liked them okay, want to read them, facepalming myself rn.
6. The Hero's of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. I read the Percy Jackson series last year and LOVED IT! Can not wait one more second to read more of Rick Riordan.
7. The Red Pyramid Trilogy (I think) by Rick Riordan AGAIN! EXCITMENT IS TASTY MMMM!!

Book Haul/Bookstores Review!

This post will be a book haul/bookstores review!
First is the book haul:
1) The first book (you can’t see it, too small :0) is Plan de Paris par Arrondissment. This is in french FYI! This book is a map of all the districts in Paris (#hungergames). These are hard to explain but I went to this antique bookstore and I saw it and was like, “wOaH this is so cooooool!” So I bought it!
2) Next is Masterman Ready by Captain Marryat. All I know is that it takes place at sea. I also got this at the antique bookstore because 1) gorgeous cover and 2) sounds interesting!!
3) Then we have Looking for Alaska by John Green (go follow him on google+ +John Green and on Instagram @ johngreenwritesbooks. Check out his Youtube channel with his brother Hank "Vlogbrothers" and check out his other books too because they are amazing, An Abundance of Katherine's, Paper Towns, Will Grayson, Will Grayson (with David Levithan) and The Fault in Our Stars), … everyone knows this book. But for the very little amount of people who don’t know what this book is about, I’ll break it down for you. So when Miles “Pudge” Halter goes to boarding school, he encounters the gorgeous, clever, funny, self-destructive and utterly fascinating Alaska Young and let's just say his life is anything but safe.
4) The next book I already had when I was in Cape Cod and that is The One by Kiera Cass. I am not going to explain what this book is about because it is the third and final installment of The Selection series and no spoilers!!
5) This other book I also had before the book shopping on The Cape and that is Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I am currently reading this so I also won’t be summing this book up for you all.
Then we have the one, the only, Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare (Collectors first edition EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!)!!! WOOOOO! I haven’t read this series yet (I know, I know, really late on the bandwagon on this one) and this is the third and final installment to The Infernal Devices so there goes another “what it’s about” section!
Then we have Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. There is no description so just one more “no explanation omg Ella I hate you so much” section.
Then we have The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. My dad brought that to read (cuz I lent it to him) and finished it and loved it so...yea! I did a review on this book so if you want to know more about it, go check out the review!
Now we have the store review! I got Wuthering Heights, Masterman Ready and the Paris book at Parnassus Book Service, they sell really gorgeous old books and I loved it there. They mostly had used books, but they were so beautiful and so was the store as a whole. The woman that worked there was so nice and was always smiling and took such good care of the books! I would definitely rate the book store a 3.5 out of 5 stars. My only criticism about this bookstore was, at sometimes the owner of the store was soo overprotective with the really old books, which I totally understand, it’s just that you are a bookstore, you are supposed to be encouraging reading and exploration, not wearing gloves whenever you touch a book or not letting the customers touch the book at all. The website for this bookstore is www.parnassusbooks.com , go check them out!
Next we have Yellow Umbrella Books. I got Clockwork Princess and Looking for Alaska there. I honestly love, love, love this store so much. I've been going there since I was a kid. They have such a good organizing system. When you are right in front of the store, there are free books that people give away...HOW AWESOME IS THAT?????? Then when you walk in, right in the middle of the room, there are journals and jewelry about books and bookmarks and old books! Then on your right, there are hardcover classics and stuff like that. Then on your left, there are all paperbacks and old books and just, if you live in Chatham and shop on main street, you know what I’m talking about. They have such a cute, but awesome YA section. I would give this bookstore 5 stars because it is such an awesome bookstore and I have such good memories and UGH IT IS SO PERFECT!!
Sorry this was so long!
I love you all sooooo much! Thanks and bye!
xoxo
